• In a small bowl, mix a tablespoon of cornflour with just enough warm water (not hot water) to create a thick, smooth paste. You should be able to spread it easily, like toothpaste, but not too runny.

• Next, take a small amount of the paste and apply it evenly onto the silver. You can use your fingers or a soft cloth. Be sure to cover all the tarnished areas, adding a bit more paste where the tarnish is heavier.
